CoastRs Student Association

CoastRs Student Association is the representative student-body organisation for students at Southern Cross University’s Gold Coast Campus. Our membership is open to all students enrolled internally at Gold Coast or studying externally.

Our aim is to deliver health and wellness activities, along with subsidised programs to create an inclusive and supportive community on campus.

our objectives

To continue to deliver equitable services to all students internal and external by implementing funds in student facilities and services, and providing students with equal representation.
Provide support and advocacy for members.
To promote social activities, workshops and events that encourage a sense of community at the Gold Coast.
Create an inclusive environment for students (undergraduate, postgraduate, external), and SCU graduates in the Gold Coast/Tweed Heads catchment.
Generate income to fund and bring the campus population at Gold Coast together.
Develop partnerships which benefit our members.
To maintain and facilitate open relationships with our members, SCU, and other student associations.
